THE TOP TEN REASONS I LIKE A BVI SAILING VACATION.

I am getting ready for my third sailing trip in the British Virgin Island this summer.

A friend asked me why I like it so much. I like a lot of things in the BVI, but these are my top ten reasons.

1. Quality Family Time: The whole time you are together. You get to play games and talk. You learn a lot about your family.

2. Beautiful Sunsets: They are just the perfect mix of reds and oranges.

3. Great Places to Snorkel: There are so many locations that you get to chose from. At each place you see something different.

4. Great Food: The food is so different from what most people are used to (at least to what I am used to!). It is fun to try new things.

5. Kind Islanders: The people that live in the BVI are always welcoming and giving.

6. Spacious Boats The catamaran is so big that I can be in my own place if I need it, but small enough that we can have family time (see#1 above).

7. Relaxation: It is hard to decide between resting on a hammock onshore or sleeping on the trampoline in the front of the catamaran.

8. Swimming Off The Boat: It is so fun to jump into the nice warm water and swim between the hulls.

9. Plenty of Entertainment: You never get bored! There is always something to do. It can be listening to a band playing onshore or just sitting on the boat and watching the other people in the anchorage.

10. The best part is NO HOMEWORK!

I just love a sailing vacation in the BVI! I can’t wait until this summer!
