ST. LUCIA
Mountainous and lush, this jewel of the Windward Islands is a place where natural wonders embrace the alluring energy of a newly "discovered" paradise destination:

• Exciting sailing
• Fabulous snorkeling and diving
• Lush interior rain forests
• Towering volcanic peaks
• Unsurpassed friendliness

A Sea of Cruising Choices
From our base in St. Lucia, the cruising and exploration possibilities are endless. Sail north to Martinique and on to Dominica or consider a voyage to exciting French Guadeloupe. To savor the true essence of the Windwards, cruise the string of islands stretching south – St. Vincent, Bequia, Mustique and the undeveloped Tobago Cays. Because of its uncrowded and unspoiled nature, many sailors feel a cruise here is like visiting their own private retreat where they can relax and find solace.

Volcanic Drama and Weekly Festivals
St. Lucia offers a world of 239 square miles that seems an island chain of its own:

• Visit Soufrière, the world's only drive-in volcano, an active vent of the earth
• Join the Friday night street festival at Gros Islet on Rodney Bay
• Relax in the earth's rejuvenating heat in the pools at Diamond Baths
• Sail in the lee of the Pitons, two lush volcanic cores that rise from the sea
• Set a course east to Mustique, an exclusive world of Rock stars and Royalty
• Sail to St. Vincent and shower in the breathtaking Falls of Baleine

Easily Reached and a Delightful Stay
St. Lucia offers the convenience of direct flights from major European and U.S. airports. Tucked in the calm leeward side of the island, The Moorings is found in beautiful Marigot Bay. The lively splendor of this bay is so alluring, charterers often elect to extend their vacation at our Marigot Bay Hotel, a Moorings resort, which offers a range of water sports.
