Very friendly

Very clean
3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
Bernd saw how hot I was at night and couldn't sleep so he ran the air condition Wednesday night.
4. Was the food good and well presented?
Loved the food.
5. Did you like the area you sailed?
I liked the area, but will sail a new area next time because I like to see different places

8. Additional comments on your charter?
For the week of May 22, 2011, we had very cloudy days and no winds - extremely unusual for the Virgin Islands - and I thought the week was going to be a bust, but it turned out to be as enjoyable as any other vacation, thanks to the hospitality of Ruth and Bernd. From the moment we boarded, I had a good feeling about the trip because of their personality. Ruth proved the perfect hostess and added a balanced congruity to Bernd's humor and joviality. No matter how demanding our requests, they never failed to provide what we wanted. The boat was as immaculately kept as anyone could require, and the food was delicious and, yet, simple and healthy. I couldn't think of anyone else I would recommend for someone looking for a really laid-back, "get away from it all" kind of vacation.

1. Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
They were very accommodating...even rearranged out sail plan so we could watch the Super Bowl!
2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Immaculate!
3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
Great ventilation and we were shown how to adjust for wind gusts and rain showers.
4. Was the food good and well presented?
Excellent.....Ruthie was amazing...great fritattas and a romatic anniversary dinner!
5. Did you like the area you sailed?
Yes, they picked great snorkeling locations and Anegada was amazing!
6. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
No...the trip was well organized and definately lived up to our expectations!!

1. Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
Bernd and Ruth are the most amazing people we have ever met. They both have a natural talent to make you feel welcomed and comfortable the moment you step onto their boat.
2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
Absolutely. The boat was in immaculate condition. Beautiful inside and out.
3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
Yes. No need for A/C. The hatches and port holes provided great ventilation.
4. Was the food good and well presented?
Fantastic cuisine. We felt as if we were dining at a five star restaurant.
5. Did you like the area you sailed?
Absolutely!
6. Could we at Virgin Island Sailing, Ltd. have helped you further in any way?
Gail was fantastic and provided us with all of the information that we required.

8. Additional comments on your charter?
Bernd and Ruth are incredible at entertaining! Their knowledge of the area, the local people and the islands is astonishing! They are very genuine, caring people. We would recommend them and their boat to anyone. We have travelled the world and have never met two people whose company we enjoyed so much; we were heartbroken to leave at the end of our trip.
